This notice summarizes categories of personal information we collect, disclose, sell/share where applicable, and retain. For full details, see our Privacy Policy, People Data Notice, and Biometric / Face Finder Notice.

Our public People projection may include confirmed Wiki-backed fields, eligible Wikimedia Commons photos, and approved social-profile details such as public handles, bio overviews, and changed-field snapshots. A public post page may retain approved metadata, but media is available only through an InstaGet-controlled short-lived lease. Contact data, raw provider payloads or URLs, private media sources, restricted archive bodies/media, connected-dataset evidence, face embeddings, and match results are not public catalog fields. Face Finder and Deep Search are disabled on the public production Service.

Sale, Sharing, Targeted Advertising, and Data Broker Activity

People Search and broker-style data disclosures may be considered sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or data broker activity under some U.S. state laws. We also may use optional advertising/measurement partners if enabled. You can opt out using Do Not Sell or Share, by sending Global Privacy Control where supported, or by submitting a request through our Privacy Request & Opt-Out Center.

Limit Sensitive Information

Where applicable, you may request limits on sensitive personal information, including residential contact data, precise location, face/biometric-related data, political or voter/public-register context, and other high-risk fields. These fields are excluded from the public catalog. Any continued managed processing must have a purpose and legal basis appropriate to the data and jurisdiction.
